SURPASSING CHALLENGES:
1) I drank only water for two weeks. This does not include my morning coffee of course. Cutting back on sugary soft drinks made a huge difference on how I felt.
2) I can now run a mile without stopping which is huge for me because I am not a runner.
3) I exercised 5 out of the 7 days in a week. Once you start, it becomes a habit and having that time becomes very enjoyable.
4) I made myself sweat every day for 30 minutes for a week. (This my personal challenge that I suggested to the class)
5) I did not eat dessert for a straight seven days. This is HUGE for me because I have a huge sweet tooth :)
**I am starting Insanity in January and cannot wait!!
Challenge others: Run for 10 minutes
1) 15 pushups
2) walking lunges 20 (40 total)
3) plank hold for one minute
4) chair dips 15
5) 'spiderman' plank 10
6) sumo squat jump 10
repeat 3x
This is a great workout for the quad!!

THE BEAST: I love to hate box jumps. I do them during HIIT classes (high intensity interval training) and hate when we have to do them! They wear me out, so I have to push myself to complete them.
MILE: This is my mile time after completing the mile run during class. I'm hoping for improvement!

QUOTE: I like this quote because it is reassuring and reminds me to not demand results as quickly as I would like to see them. Keep going!
A PICTURE THAT EMBODIES MY INSPIRATION/GOAL: I want to feel comfortable in my own skin, and maintain a healthy, strong, feminine body.

I have started using the app, My Fitness Pal! I love it and it keeps me in check with how many calories I am burning and consuming.  I have never counted calories, so this is new for me.  My goal weight by the end of the semester is between 115-117 pounds.
